A vital component of any successful G.R.E.A.T. Program is the formation of partnerships between the policing agency and other agencies and organizations that are focused on helping youth. This summer, the National Gang Symposium—Progress Through Partnerships—will provide G.R.E.A.T. instructors with the opportunity to:
Discuss other gang-prevention strategies that work in conjunction with G.R.E.A.T.
Discuss regional gang trends with experts
Network with gang professionals from around the United States
Learn about the preliminary outcomes from the ongoing national evaluation of G.R.E.A.T.
Learn strategies for coordinating outreach
